As a charity, our funding comes entirely from donations and grants. We receive no government funding, and do not make any charge to our listeners for the service we provide.
All of the money that we raise goes to funding the production and distribution of our weekly news and magazine recordings. We have to find funds each year to cover the rent for our recording studios, upkeep of our computer recording systems, and purchasing new memory sticks and pouches so that our recordings can be sent out to our listeners.
None of this would be possible without the donations that we receive.
Ways to donate
We have an account with PayPal, allowing you to make a donation using any debit or credit card, you don't even need to have a PayPal account.
If you prefer you can also donate by posting a cheque, made payable to "Chester Talking Newspaper For The Blind". Our address is on our Contact Us page.
However you choose to donate, if you provide us with your name we will acknowledge your donation as soon as possible in one of our magazine recordings.
